"Three Aspects of the Divine; Humanity," the second painting in a three-part series, represents the Hindu Goddess of beauty, prosperity, and love (Lakshmi) in three forms, first, as herself, second, as the divine in all of humanity, and third, as the individual. I perceive divine to mean that which is humanity expressing our highest selves; being selfless, caring, compassionate to others and ourselves. The pandemic has traumatized each of us and this series is created to express hope for a kinder and gentler world.
The first painting is Lakshmi offering prosperity and beauty to the world. The second, this one, is all the colors of humanity. The third is solid gold, the enlightened individual
