My inspiration primarily comes from nature, dreams, Surrealist/Symbolist/Pre-Raphaelite art, witchcraft, teaching art to children, the love of color and form, and sparkly iridescent things. The work is about emotion, beauty, spirituality, feminism, the Earth, childhood, personal myth, and the magical possibilities of the Universe. I am a graduate of SFAI and children's art educator of 27 years, living and working in San Francisco.
