Michael Endicott has been a Bay Area fine art photographer since 2015. He grew up on the coasts of North and South America and the Caribbean. His history as a marine biologist and environmental lawyer informs his thematic driver which is “connection.” His photosculpture process in the digital darkroom pulls his cellular tapestries into works of abstract realism and surreal realism. We may need to sit still to feel a connection, so his work is also an invitation to active meditation. His art can be found in Northern California galleries as well as private and commercial collections around the world.
