Abstract landscapes are my main subject matter. The landscape itself acts out an idea that references human life.
I use conventional perspective to evoke space. My shapes are obliquely inspired by ordinary objects that we encounter in real life. My use of color, however, is strictly intuitive. I hope that the viewer will find that my combination of these elements delivers a feeling of energy, mixed with a bit of comforting familiarity.
