Artist Statement
On their own, each item can appear quiet and unassuming. They each have their own backstory and origin–and yet, when they come together as an ensemble, they come to life to tell a story to an audience.
I like capturing and exposing the beauty of these everyday objects through a spontaneous process of discovery and rearranging. The emotional connection between myself and the materials is a constant in my work.
