"On The Way Home" was painted when I was feeling a deep sense of uncertainty. My shadow lingered behind me, and it wanted to play. I am interested in the intersection between humor and darkness and the space between life and death. Where do we go before we go? Will there be snacks? Sometimes I feel like I'm meandering through my days and at other times, I'm moving more purposefully. At the end of the day, it's about getting home.
