Artist Statement
The obsession of repetition lies at the root of what I do. Created with cut paper, the images are simple in the execution, yet visually complex. Working in a circular and repetitive manner, the creation of the piece becomes a visual meditation, the process having as much importance as the finished work. "SkyBurst" is one of a series of works depicting my lifelong fascination with constellations and the night sky.
