Artist Statement
From my "Exuberance" series - women taking up space with joy, attitude and no apology. Women who know their power and enjoy their bodies. The title of this painting is taken from Lizzo's anthem of in-your-face self-love "Truth Hurts." Thank you to @daphneagten_trixiedivine for inspiration and permission.
