Artist Statement
I am a multimedia artist living and working in Berkeley. I have my BFA in studio art from Willamette University. My piece for this exhibit “Driveway Poppies” was created using acrylic and oil. Highlighting overlooked corners, my current work explores the flora and fauna of our urban landscape and how nature finds a way to thrive in unexpected ways.
