Artist Statement
"Building Bridges" is an expressive interpretation of the essence of this year's Spring in the Marin Headlands. As an avid hiker, this is how I saw it. The bright green is from the generous rains we received this past winter and takes a center stage in celebration. The lines running throughout represent hiking trails that go up and down and zigzag across the landscape, and the cadmium red lines speak to the beloved Golden Gate Bridge.
