Artist Statement
In "Reay Road," I present a photograph captured during a sunrise in Mumbai, India. By combining twelve separate but continuous 4x5 film photos, my objective is to immerse the viewer, enabling them to walk along the long photo as if they were walking along Reay Road with me in Mumbai. By evoking a sense of proximity and shared presence, I invite you to witness the interconnectedness of life amidst adversity, fostering empathy and understanding for these vibrant communities.
