These drawings began after I came back from a ten day meditation. My first experience meditating. I was making sculpture before the meditation but when I came back there was nothing I wanted to make. I just wanted to make. So I began to make this mark, this doodle really, while I waited for an idea to come to me. Eventually ideas did come but the drawings continued. I think of them as a simple yet complex expression of what physical being feels like.

All drawings are archival ink on archival cotton rag paper.
