This painting is part of an ongoing series which began in early 2020 at the global spread of Covid-19 and the immediate impact and effect which changed life for everyone. I felt that it was important to express through my art what I was witnessing firsthand a life altering situation that I had never experienced before in my lifetime. The fear of the unknown impact and potential affected everyone, what was clear was that this pandemic would change everything and that anyone could get infected, hospitalized, intubated, and possibly face an end-of-life verdict. Finding the light, finding the hope in this period was a challenge. My paintings are about Hope.
