Soaking these beauties in my kitchen sink last summer, I saw a wonderful opportunity to create this still-life. It is my hope that the viewer will not only be drawn to the beauty of the colors and the apples spherical form, but also clearly taste the sweetness of that one Gravenstein apple that pops off the canvas for them. Yum!
