Artist Statement
What do we think about the most? - What do we spend most of our time thinking about, on a day-to-day basis? - Ourselves. I think about me … my career, my goals and aspirations, my accomplishments, my failures … all things associated to ME.
I, in turn, became my own muse and this painting reflects that - a man who is strong, rough around the edges, vibrant, layered and imperfect. Stunning from afar, but up close and deep down, a huge mess. A man who refuses to be defined.
