Employing visual language cues from Islamic geometry and architecture, Jain cosmological maps, and Buddhist sand mandalas, these drawings explore notions of permanence and impermanence within the structure of the human body. First started during the 2020 shelter in place directives, it seemed necessary to create order in a moment of chaos and confusion while simultaneously meditating on the truth that nothing is permanent.
