My work incorporates personal, mythological, and historical semiotics, and juxtaposes the earthly with the sublime to question problematic ideas of power, authority, and gender expectations. My experiences in the court system as a victim of domestic violence mirror historical tragedies and injustice against those who lack agency. Through anachronistic visual storytelling I aim to displace us from our modern worldview, and better illuminate truth and reality, challenging our belief in these systems.
