I was born on Christmas day which in and of itself is a very hard day to have as your birthday and then my husband, the father of my 2 children, was killed just after New Years. As working artists, we were always known for our extravagant holiday cards which I would mail to all our friends and family to enjoy as a piece of art. Everyone thought they would never receive another after he passed, but I decided to continue the tradition in his honor and every year I recruit fellow friends and photographers to assist me in this process. I use lighting to give a flat editorial effect, and the camera on a tripod using multiple exposures to create funny and ridiculous portraits of our family.
