Artist Statement
This piece reflects the political and social challenges that many around the world face today. Wealth inequality, human rights, and environmental degradation are just a few of these issues at the forefront. Although, often examined individually, every issue is interrelated to some degree and will affect us all regardless of social class or political position. In particular, this painting depicts the resulting extinction of human civilization.
