Artist Statement
As an artist and art therapist, I seek to integrate my understanding of humanity with my aesthetics.
The use of symbol, abstraction and form are tools I use to express the things I see and know and feel.
My choice of clay provides a natural medium which is both immediate, spontaneous and changing.
The focus and inspiration of my work is on the human form.
My art becomes a reflection on life and wonder about the world we live.
I hope to engage my viewer in an avenue of awareness and knowing by interacting, to feel and imagine.
