Artist Statement
In art, true perfection does not exist. As artists we can always dig deeper, create more, do better. Perfection is limiting. Believing there is always space to grow into is how artists exist in this world. This piece was born from the ashes of one of my destroyed paintings, with the intention of reinventing it to become a statement more relevant to the times and to my process. Artists always have work to do.
