In the "Dreaming" series, my focus lies in a place that is a step removed from the material world. Much of the work comes from dream imagery. I feel that dreaming is perceiving more than what we believe is possible to perceive.

Annica or impermanence is the concept that everything comes into being and then dissolves. I have been contemplating this issue since the death of my mother when I was sixteen and later when I survived “terminal” cancer as well as during the pandemic and the tumultuous political environment that we find ourselves in today. In many cultures, moths have been viewed as symbols of transformation, death, and rebirth.
