My photograph "Liberty coin 2022" portrays a fictional coin.
I have used some creative license with the motto and new date.
I believe I have created an image that captures a much needed new icon and new narrative.
I’m working on creating an implied narrative and attempting to elevate objects with photography.
I created the "Liberty coin" photograph in my studio using high powered strobe lights and mirrors. Employing a technique known as axial lighting.
The original medal / coin I photographed is the US Mint proof "American Liberty 225th Anniversary Medal." 1792 - 2017
