Artist Statement
"BRILLIANT" typifies my careful selection and use of media — in an ever-expanding array including papyrus, obsidian, acupuncture needles, bb gun pellets, found objects, silica, windshield shards from auto wrecks, razors and cutting blades, pebbles, semi-precious stones, gold, silver — on painting surfaces and murals, to elicit a visceral response to the viewer.
