"Shots" is the chosen name of Robin D. Lopez, an activist raised in Richmond who I met when we were both doing work at Unity Park. He accepted my invitation to pose at a place with personal significance for him, the old ferry grounds at Miller Knox Park, a place so emblematic of the City's past and future. This portrait is part of a series of Richmond activists that I am in process of completing.
