Artist Statement
This painting is one of latest work from my "Figure in Landscape" series. The work springs out of my desire to integrate the figure with the natural landscape, tree forms and botanical features. The figure is painted from observation while the landscape comes from the imagination inspired by the scenes in the Bay Area.
