I enjoy bringing a "beginner's eye" into the natural world by creating environments that often combine elements of both earth and sea. In this way I aspire to spark the viewer's curiosity and interest, perhaps "seeing" the unusual terrain with a playful or thoughtful perspective. While some of my work is overtly psychological, at other times I hope my audience will simply sit quietly and enjoy the view.
