This image was a result of my visits to Mission Bay and the shipbuilding/repair practices there from 2006 through the present time, when the work has literally stopped. The irony of the Lilliputian scale suggested here captivated me and this has been reworked and refined to the bare essential parts and is the most successful and satisfying outcome of subsequent refining and cropping from the original file. It is my single most satisfying long-term work.
