Artist Statement
This papercut is inspired by a trove of deadstock superwax fabric I have been collecting for years and by patterns found in tile, bricks, and other building materials. I designed the artwork in AutoCAD, and used my laser cutters - Larry and Lola - to cut the patterns out of paper and fabric.
