Artist Statement
This is my depiction of the ancient pagan motif. "The Green Man" is primarily interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, representing the cycle of new growth that occurs every spring. It is a tribute to my appreciation of nature and references the concept of human beings being a part of and inseparable from the natural world.
