Artist Statement
Sarah works with natural elements to create bold, saturated still lives. She seeks to explore the concepts of good plants, bad plants and weeds by gleaning botanicals growing wild in the East Bay and ones sold in local stores. This work combines edible plants, invasive species and local flora.
