This painting was inspired by the ancient art form from India called "Gond art." It is very graphically oriented. The theme of the painting is taken from nature like trees, leaves, forests, animals, birds etc. Once the composition is sketched out it is painted with colorful acrylic paints. After the base colors are applied each element of the painting is further embellished with circles, dashes, lines, dots and geometrical shapes in contrasting colors. The theme is very simple yet very complex and intricate. I have tried to depict the delicate, beautiful, happy and harmonious balance which exists in nature. As an artist I feel this balance should be enjoyed and respected for generations.
