Artist Statement
With this work I am exploring the human relationship with the soil beneath our feet. While trying to create an opportunity for connection with this community below us, I also show the traces of human disregard, arrogance, and lack of understanding that exists in this beautiful territory that supports the creation of what we breathe and all that we eat.
