Artist Statement
Due to significant rainfall in Berkeley during the winter of 2023. Strawberry Creek in The University of California at Berkeley Botanical Gardens, the creek was flowing strongly. One day I found this lone leaf caught on a rock by one of the cascades. More rain a few days later washed the leaf down stream.
