Spending 3 weeks in Salvador, Bahia, throughout Christmas and New Years was unbelievable. Wandering around in the cobblestone streets of Pelourinho, I caught this boy looking at my lens out of a sea of colorful young Bahianos. As a self-taught artist and visual storytelling, I’ve been getting work all over the Bay Area and also international gigs in photography and filmmaking. I’ve learned how to adapt, adjust, and appreciate everything around me with a positive attitude. With my “always a student” mentality, I try to push my boundaries, experimenting in new ways, and using creativity to constantly evolve my artistic journey.
