My artworks explore my childhood trauma and growth. There are certain wounds that leave an indelible mark on our lives, forever etched into our memories. In an attempt to heal these internal wounds, I use my materials as therapy. Through storytelling and engaging with the media, I unearth my inner emotions, letting art be my therapy. My works explore my identity as an Asian international student, facing issues of losing connection with roots, discrimination and bullying. My pieces are a culmination of my emotions, memories, conscious and subconscious thoughts helping me find resolution and move forward.
