geographies manipulated, ecosystems destroyed, lives shortened-acts that are justified as processes of protection from the “other.” When there is no particular site to contain all violence, safety and clarity can be found through conjuring other ways of existing, other possibilities, threading what has been used for generations, including all pieces torn and ripped from tangible memories and gripping tighter to the intuitive actions that guide closer to home.
